Very Good

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was so very comfortable! Breakfast is a must, iced coffees and their french toast just delicious.

No cocktails at the pool before 1pm, like any typical hotel dinner and drink prices more expensive than going out

Great Place, great View, lovely sea location.

Fantastic property, we had a great room close to pool with a view to the sea. Staff were amazing, friendly helpful, nice and close to Night life.

The facilities were great and staff were so incredibly nice very friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and very spacious.

It was just a little bit out of town but everything about the resort was fantastic

Incredibly relaxed experience at a wonderful resort.

We loved the staff culture always polite and smiling, friendly, attentative and efficient. Our room was superb and we loved the relaxed atmosphere around the resort. Breakfast was wonderful. The swimming pools were immaculately clean as was the entire resort.

Simply an amazing resort!

The resort was simply amazing! We stayed there for some days and were so happy that we booked some more days. The staff is very warm and nice. The food and drinks were very delicious. Overall everything was clean, the pools and the beaches were nice and we were really happy to stay in such a nice resort. 10/10 would come again.

One pool was under construction during the stay (but there were still enough other pools ;))

Well designed boutique hotel but avoid the villas near the road

The hotel is very nicely designed and the location right next to the private beach is lovely, the perfect spot to enjoy some drinks or food next to the sea. The service was excellent and the staff were super attentive. The Thai food in the restaurant is very good. Also enjoyed using the Kayak and paddle board although the paddle board is missing the fin so very difficult to navigate.

The villa I had booked is right next to the main road which has four lanes and is super noisy thanks to the constant motorbike traffic, which was not quite the peaceful paradise I was looking for. Also there was construction on the upper pool which meant in the day there were construction noises as well. They did move us for the last two nights to a room next to the sea which we loved, so avoid the villas. I was a bit upset I had booked so early and yet the hotel did not mention the construction. They did compensate us with free drinks but I would have appreciated a heads-up. I would have been happy to pay a bit more to be away from the noise. The breakfast is a bit hit and miss and something they should improve. The fresh coffee and tea was great but the bread and pastries were all stale. I think better not to have bread and pastries than have stale ones. The made-to-order Rocky's breakfast was also surprisingly bad: the hash brown tasted microwaved and the tomatoes and mushrooms tasteless and plasticky.

Thank you Rocky's staff for the amazing stay!

We had an amazing stay at Rocky's resort. All the staff are always kind, helpful, accommodating, and amazing at what they do that even when our AC broke down they went above and beyond to help us find a solution. We are both vegetarians, and they were very flexible and understanding regarding this, we were always served the vegetarian menu for the delicious breakfast and dinner even without us reminding them. Everybody made us feel safe as a gay couple, I never felt judged or stared at. The room was also perfect, exactly as beautiful as the pictures. And the veranda to the garden was a great place to read the books that are also available in the well-stacked library :) The hotel is located in a pretty calm area, so perfect if you're looking for a relaxing escape. We will definitely come back for another visit!

Fantastic location, calming environment and fantastic food.

The staff were really attentive and made you feel important by everyone who worked there. The food was incredible not only in how it was presented but also the flavours. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who is thinking of staying at Koh Samui.

Incredible stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rocky’s Boutique! Everything about this resort is incredible and the staff are so lovely, friendly and helpful! They always went out of their way to help us, assisting us with booking and organising day trips, as well as providing excellent transportation throughout the island! We always felt welcomed at breakfast and around the resort by all of the beautiful staff! The facilities at this resort are also so beautiful and clean, and there is nothing that we can fault about this beautiful resort in Lamai! We hope to be back soon!

Great resort in picturesque location

The rooms are well appointed with a great view of the ocean, we got upgraded to a room on the beach with a plunge pool which was amazing although it is worth noting, they are not very private rooms, if you have the blind open people can see right in. The resort is really well maintained and beautiful more 5* than 4*. Food was generally pretty good and the staff are friendly. We used the spa for a massage which was good and the gym is alright. The location is nice, by the sea however there isnt a lot of places to walk to for lunch/dinner however Grab is easy to get and many places are a 10 min taxi ride away.

My only slight gripe is that it is quite difficult to get a sunbed round the pools and the tide was often high during our stay so the beach wasn't really an option.

Booked this hotel as we were attending for a wedding. Ended up staying for an extra night as we loved it so much! The rooms were impeccably clean and furnished to a very high standard. We will definitely be returning again.

The staff are absolutely wonderful and accommodating, the gardens lush, and the views stunning. Our sea-view room, with oversized king bed, was spacious, spotless, and featured direct access to a shared infinity pool. The restaurant offered variety, with the standout being the fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented Thai dishes—truly delicious. If you're seeking warm, friendly staff, excellent Thai cuisine, and a beautiful setting, this resort is a great choice. Thanks!

The only downside was the location, requiring costly taxis to get to restaurants, shopping, etc, although there is a complimentary shuttle service to the local village.

Relaxing, comfortable, clean and quiet.

Clean, spacious, well-equipped rooms. Comfortable pools, sun beds, and pool areas with trees and shade. Excellent breakfast with everything you would want - juices, coffees, teas, breads, eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, salamis, youghurts, fruits, cereals and everything else. Excellent food quality in the restaurant outside of breakfast. Kind and positive staff all around. Located by the ocean with a private beach. Water is a little shallow, but ok for swimming during high tide. Remember your bathing shoes (or use the ones provided by the hotel free of charge) to protect your feet against some rocks on the seabed.
